Adam Stern is a senior business executive with a diverse finance and operating background.  His experience includes business restructuring and operations, mergers & acquisitions, banking and investment banking across several industries including specialty finance and investment fund management.

Adam was recently the Managing Member and CFO of PPB Capital Partners, LLC, a $1bn SEC registered alternative investment fund management business serving the independent wealth management industry nationally.  The business operated over 35 funds with both US and offshore structures.  Prior to joining PPB, Adam was a Partner at The Gemstone Group, Inc., a boutique investment banking and advisory firm serving specialty finance, renewable energy and energy efficiency organizations as well as operating HJS2 Capital LLC, his personal private equity investment entity.

Earlier in his career, Adam was a founding member and operating partner of GFS Technologies, LLC, which acquired and integrated bank computer processing businesses across the central United States until its merger with Aurum Technologies (formerly a division of EDS). Mr. Stern started his career at CoreStates Bank in its commercial banking training program.

Adam received his MBA in Finance and Investments from the George Washington University and a dual undergraduate degree in Finance and Real Estate & Urban Development from The American University.  He resides in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area with his wife Lauren and has two adult children plus a faithful doodle, Whinnie!
