James Monigan, CFA is the head of risk management for Pursuit Funds, where he leverages decades of expertise spanning niche industries to identify and mitigate risks. He is a voting member of the Investment Committee.

Prior to joining Pursuit, James spent nearly a decade as an equity research analyst at Wells Fargo and Citi, specializing in Industrials, Transportation and Shipping. He held an associate role at HSBC, where he focused on underwriting financial transactions in Media, Communications & Entertainment. James started his career in risk management at Global Exchange Group.

James has a BA in Economics and Mathematics from Hobart and William Smith College, an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University and is a CFA® charterholder.
